Mommy was getting a little stir crazy so she bundled me up and we went for a walk to enjoy the nice weather!!!

Fussy, Fussy, FUSSY!!

I am starting to find my voice now after 7 days. I have now chosen that evenings are a good time to not like a bottle, sleeping, a nook, being held, rocking, licks from the dogs or anything else that mom or dad try. Also, once I do fall asleep and they try to lay me down I wake up and start crying again!!!! But otherwise I am a beautiful well behaved little boy!!

Growing Boy

Sleeping again to maintain my healthy body weight. The doctors visit today put me in the 97% category. I think they are full of it!!! But the doc checked me out and all was well. I really like my new pediatrician, he is nice and very helpful. We go back again at 2 months.

Ok, I have been urinated on 3 times already and mom has somehow avoided it. What a little turkey!!! Won't be the last I'm sure.

Had the home nurse visit today and all went well. I now weighed in at 10 lbs 8 oz. So I am down still from my birth weight but up a couple from when we left the hospital. She said that I seem to be a happy baby and everything looked good. She told Mom and Dad to keep doing what they are doing. Mom and Dad are very pleased since I have arrived home. I hardly cry and sleep well. Dad usually stays with me until my 2:00 am feeding and then I sleep until 6 or 7 and then mom gets up with me. So everyone is doing well and happy!!!!

I am finally home

Well we were observed all night and all went well. We were finally discharged around 10:00 a.m. and even made a quick stop to get breakfast. I am now in my great big home with two big crazy dogs that run all over the place. The big yellow one likes to lick me a lot and lays next to me to protect me. I also have a nice swing that I like to sleep in. Hopefully my new crib is comfortable to night and everything goes well.

Can I go home yet??

Well here we sit still waiting to go home. I believe I have technically obtain residency at Methodist Hospital. Mom had a little nerve racking day of more tests and fluids. The doctors were concerned about her heart after the birth so we had to move rooms and get evaluated for the day. We are now back in the OB ward, cleaned up and ready to get home tomorrow. One more night of evaluation. Hopefully we can leave early and start getting settled at home. We have all not wanted to be home so badly before. Stay tuned for more.

Daddy went home last night, to see the puppies and bring them Dalton's blanket so they could smell him and to get a good's nights sleep. Mom had to stay all by herself, but she came and got me from the nursery really early to cuddle me. My circumcision went well, Im not fussy at all. I rarely cry and am a really good baby. just hanging out at the hospital for another day before we all can go home and meet my puppies.

The Baby is Here

Baby Dalton Jeffrey Olson was finally born today at 1145 am. He is a big boy already weighing 10 bs 10 oz and 22 inches long when born. Mom and Dalton are doing very well. Both are extremely tired. Due to his size Dalton had to be born by c-section so hopefully the recovery for mom goes well. More pictures and info to follow. Mom is scheduled to go home on Tuesday from Methodist.

HOLY BALLS

42 hours in this room with nothing to show for it is way too long. Got about 4 hrs of sleep last night. Mom is now at about 7-8 cm and they seem to think she is making good progress now and are hopeful. I have lost all hope and I think Bobbi is darn close as well. I just wish they would feed her. Bobbi hasn't eaten since 10:00 on Friday morning!!! They don't want anything in her stomach in case they have to do a c-section.....that blows!!! I am going to sneak out to find something for myself to eat, yeah yeah I know how selfish. But, hopefully the next post will be that we have a baby on the ground!!!

Atleast I have a pleasant view out of the hospital room. I can watch the ducks swim by!!! And there is a board walk, but too rainy out to even enjoy it...

Lets Rock

Ok may not yet but getting close. After being at the hospital for 31 hrs we have reached about 7 cm. Mom is already extremely exhausted, but wants it to be over with. Hopefully with in a couple hours we can start pushing and see how things go. Everything seems to be fine but just a slow process.

Some Progress

Well Dad got to sleep for an hour before I got the call to get back to the hospital. The water broke after I left along with some contractions!!!! It was a long night of some not so good sleep, but up now and ready for the petosin (sp?) to get things going. Hopefully soon we will have major progress.

At the hospital

well we finally got the call to head to the hospital. Got there and no progress. still hasn't dropped. Was given some drugs to help but nothing will be changing for awhile. They keep saying be prepared for staying here for a couple of days!!! I came home for the night so I could sleep and will head back in the morning. Hopefully Bobbi will get some sleep tonight as well.

Come out soon

Ok, Mom sounds like a freight train coming through my bed. We need to get the baby out so she can breath again and dad can get some sleep. All I have to say it thank goodness I have been working nights so I can sleep. Yeah, Yeah I know my world will be rocked when he comes out, but at least it won't be Mom trying to blow her out her sinus's into my ear!!!

Still waiting for the phone call to go to Methodist.......seems strange to be waiting by the phone to know when I can have my baby.

Still not here

Well as of today Mom has a cold with an ear infection. Pretty miserable. The doctor called and said that there is no way we are getting to today but we are on the books for tomorrow. Lets hope and pray that he follows through with this or he decides to come naturally.

Mom is enjoying being 9 months 6 days pregnant and the newly arrived girl scout cookies!!!
